Below you will find that there are several ice rinks in Abbotsford that are currently offering public skating. One of the great things to do in the Fraser Valley in the fall is to grab your family and hit the rink. There are several rinks offering public skating in Abbotsford over the fall, winter, and spring. Typically a lot of the ice is removed in the late spring and summer to support lacrosse and ball hockey in these Abbotsford arenas.

Abbotsford Recreation Centre (ARC Skating Rink)

This Public skating in Abbotsford is an open session for all ages to enjoy ice skating in Abbotsford. Children under 7 must have a guardian aged 16yrs or older closely supervising the skating. Helmets are mandatory for children under the age of 8 but it is strongly recommended that all participants wear helmets. Infants in strollers equipped with a 5-point harness are permitted on the ice provided the infant is wearing a helmet. For safety reasons, figure skating and hockey playing are not permitted during public skate sessions.
Skate Sharpening is available during public skate times. Skate rentals and helmets are available.

Public Skating Aldergrove Ice Arena
Location: 27032 Fraser Highway
Aldergrove Credit Union Ice Arena is back with public skating in the Fraser Valley staring September 16th 2023. It is available for all ages and all skill levels. Children 12 and under are required to wear a helmet. No sticks or pucks allowed. Skate and helmet rentals are available.
Price for 2023/24: Adults $6.96 plus taxes, Children: $3.43 plus taxes, Seniors: $5.14 plus tax, Youth: $4.33 plus tax
Advance online registration is recommended for all public skating sessions to secure your spot. Registration for each session is available 23 hours in advance. On-site in-person, drop-in admissions are now allowed but are based on session availability and as space permits in each limited capacity session. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you register for a drop-in session and do not attend or do not provide at least one (1) hour cancellation notice prior to the start time of the session, it will be considered a no-show visit.

Drop-in for this opportunity to practice your stick-handling skills on the ice! Participants 12 years old and under must wear a full cage CSA-approved helmet.
