Upon arrival Markus was ecstatic to check out all of the decor. He eagers ran from room to room, pointing out all of the holiday decor, from twinkling lights above the bed to an entire decorated Christmas Tree. With so much in front of us, we did not know what to do first!
He ran from the telescope to the cookie decorating, to the selection of cold drinks on hand. Every need and want was available in the suite.

Because we had an early flight the next morning, we put on robes and wanted to check out the pool!

The pool deck was empty in the afternoon, it has a small lap pool and a hot tub. The pool was a bit chilly for my taste, but Markus had a quick dip before joining me in the hot tub! Right next to the pool is a spa and gym. If only we had more time, I am sure we could have spent some time there as well!

Back in our suite, it was cookie decorating time! the Fairmont offers a generous supply of icing and toppings. We took a couple of cookies in our carry-on for a mid morning snack the next day!

After decorating, Markus and I went downstairs to enjoy the on-site Restaurant, Globe @YVR. I wish I could have said that I enjoyed a lazy evening in the jetted tub, but I will be honest, it was time to curl up into bed.
