Duncan Farmer’s Market, Duncan BC

The Duncan Farmers’ Market is located in downtown Duncan in the beautiful Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island. It is one of the largest year round markets on Vancouver Island! Every Saturday, year round, you will find a sea of tents in the market square on Craig Street and down Ingram Street.

This Vancouver Island market has up to 100 vendors. It is a true farmers market but also hosts artisans and makers.

It offers a full array of produce, in-season fruit, honey, eggs, cheese, meat, seafood, wines and spirits, baked goods, plants and flowers, amazing local artisan creations, pastas, jams, pickles, and many specialty items.   

You will also find local food trucks.

Island Roots Farmers’ Market

Island Roots is Nanaimo’s only year-round Farmers’ Market. They host a wide variety of farmers, producers, and artisans local to Vancouver Island. It is located at Beban Park.

Parksville Community Market

This farmer’s market on Vancouver Island features locally grown, handmade or home-based businesses. There are also food trucks and live music on site.

Location: 223 Mills Street, Parksville.

Dates: Sunday, 11:00 am – 2:00 pm

James Bay Street Market, Victoria BC

Saturday mornings now see a gathering of 50 plus tents bustling with excited vendors with their colourful displays of fresh local fruits, vegetables and farm produce along with baked goods, locally brewed beverages, prepared foods and preserves. This Vancouver Island market also has crafters to offer you a large selection of art, woodworking, clothing, body care products, jewellery and more!

Along with your shopping bags make sure to bring along your dancing shoes and appetite as there is live music to enjoy! There are also food trucks on site.

Victoria Public Market

The Victoria Public Market is one of Vancouver Island’s daily markets. It highlights local artisans, farmers, butchers, bakers, cheese-makers, preservers, brewers, vintners, florists and restaurateurs.

The Victoria Public Market is located in the historic Hudson building in downtown Victoria, and features locally-produced cheese, local meats, farm-fresh groceries, handmade pies, a French bakery, oils and vinegars, fresh flowers, specialty retail, gourmet food service offerings, and much more!

It is also a popular Christmas market in Victoria.

Moss St Market, Victoria BC

The Moss St Market is another one of Vancouver Island’s year round markets. Regular Season Markets run May through October, every Saturday, 10am to 2pm , rain or shine, on the Sir James Douglas school grounds, surrounding boulevards and Porter Park. 

The Winter Markets run November through April, every Saturday, 10am to 1pm, indoors in the Sir James Douglas school gymnasium and Garry Oak Room.  This is a popular market at Christmastime in Victoria.

Qualicum Beach Farmers’ Market

Located in the heart of the beautiful village of Qualicum Beach, this Vancouver Island farmers’ market specializes in fresh produce, meat, seafood, and value-added products. It is open every Saturday year-round.

Dates: Saturdays, from 8:30 am-noon.

Salt Spring Market, Salt Spring Island BC

Fresh local produce & internationally acclaimed arts and crafts, including world-class potters, jewelers, fibre artists, woodworkers, fine art & photography, body care, clothing & more.

Open each Saturday from 9am – 3pm, starting on the first Saturday of April or Easter weekend (whichever comes first) till the last Saturday in October.
